Info about the League:

The Arctic Foxes are a group of women interested in playing hockey and having fun! Our mission is to make sure everyone learns various aspects of hockey, but more importantly, that we have a great time while learning. We currently have 3 levels of play; Rec, D and C.

The Rec team is a group of beginners that focus on the basics of ice hockey. Some of the things you can expect to work on is skating, passing, shooting, and the basic rules of the game. The D and C teams are more competitive teams that travel to play games as well as attend tournaments. To join either of these teams, a tryout is required. The Rec team practices on Sundays at 7:10 – 8:10 pm, the D and C teams currently have ice Sundays, 8:20 – 9:20 pm. All ice slots are on Rink 2.

The House League has been in effect for a few years now and has been a great success! The House league is an added ice slot to give the foxes an extra night of hockey to practice all of the skills they have been working on during the season. This year, the Monday night House League is open to all members of the foxes women (instead of 3 teams with designated play dates, as in the past) and the format is similar to that of open hockey- with referees. This is just a great opportunity for everyone in the league to socialize and play hockey.  The House League is held on Mondays, 9:15 – 10:15 pm.

  You do not have to be on one of the Foxes teams to join the House league. You are welcome to just join the House league if you want! See info below.

Pricing:

(players must be 18 or older)

Rec Team: $360 covers  hockey practice and the House League. That is 2 nights of hockey a week (Sunday and Monday)

D Team: $600* covers hockey practice and the House League. Also included in this fee are 5 home game ice slots and the registration fee for 2 away tournaments (TBD by the team).

C Team: $600* covers practice and the House League. Also included in this fee are 5 home game ice slots and the registration fee for 2 away tournaments (TBD by the team).

House League Only: $200 for the entire season.

EXTRAS

Practice Players (at the coaches discretion) $360, includes all practices and House League

Dedicated Goalies play at half price! (House League Only: $100, C/D Team: $300, Rec Team: $180)

C/D Team Player Substitutes: These players can play if asked to by the team when a full time player is absent. (Subs must be a practice player) To play in a tournament: $50 (goes towards registration) Game fee: TBD

The Foxes Board:
